Should I always take the highest offer on my home?

Never evaluate an offer on price alone - that is one of the most common and expensive seller mistakes. A $2.1 million offer with 10% down, an appraisal contingency, and borderline financials may never close. A $2 million all-cash offer with no contingencies almost certainly will. Evaluate closing probability, financing risk, timeline, and deposit structure alongside the top-line number.
