Estoppel Certificate
An estoppel certificate is a signed statement used in transactions to confirm specified facts as of a date (often used for leases or association charges), intended to limit later contradictory claims. In condominium contexts, statute provides a statement mechanism for unpaid common charges that limits exposure beyond the stated amount.
