How do I prevent a buyer from renegotiating after we agree on price?

Eliminate the surprise factor through radical transparency. Disclose all known conditions - aging HVAC, building assessments, cosmetic wear - before buyers submit offers. When a buyer already knew about an issue when they bid, they cannot credibly claim it as a new discovery to justify a price reduction. Pre-listing inspections and comprehensive listing descriptions are your two strongest re-trade defenses.
