How many days on market is too many in NYC?

It varies by property type and price point, but as a general rule: any co-op or condo below $5M that exceeds 60 days without a signed contract is sending a warning signal to the market. By 90 days, sophisticated buyers assume something is wrong and discount their offers accordingly. Luxury properties above $5M have longer acceptable windows, but even there, 120+ days creates stigma.
