How much should I reduce my price if my listing is stale?

Small reductions are pointless - cutting $10,000 off a $2 million listing changes nothing. A meaningful reduction must be 3-5% to push your property into a new, lower buyer search bracket and trigger fresh algorithmic alerts on listing platforms. This effectively re-launches the listing to a completely new segment of buyers. Anything less is just cosmetic and wastes more time on market.
