Determination of Significance
Determination of significance is the lead agency's decision as to whether the proposed action may result in a significant adverse environmental impact. SEQRA regulations provide criteria and procedural requirements, including the ability to issue negative declarations, conditioned negative declarations (for Unlisted actions with an applicant), or positive declarations requiring an EIS.
