Insurable Title
Insurable title is title that a title insurer is willing to insure (issue a policy for), subject to stated exceptions and policy terms. Practically, it is a risk allocation outcome: some recorded matters are "accepted" as exceptions and others must be removed, subordinated, or otherwise addressed before policy issuance.
