What are REBNY rules about pocket listings?

REBNY RLS rules require members to syndicate listings within a specified timeframe after executing a listing agreement. Withholding a listing beyond this window to keep it as a pocket listing may violate REBNY policies and generate compliance issues for your agent. Discuss these rules with your broker before committing to an off-market strategy - non-compliance can result in fines and disciplinary action for the listing agent.
