What words should I avoid in my listing description?

Fair Housing laws prohibit language that indicates preference based on race, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, or disability. Avoid terms like "perfect for young professionals," "family neighborhood," "walking distance to church," or "master bedroom" in some markets. Beyond compliance, skip vague superlatives like "charming" or "cozy" - buyers read these as code for "small." Use specific, measurable details that help buyers self-qualify.
